Tired!

I am posting this because I need your suggestions/experiences on this matter.

For the last couple of months, I have been unusually tired. I mean, really tired, to the point that if I have more than one thing to do after dinner I just want to cry (and sometimes do it) because I just can't.

I really don't know what to do. We were talking about it earlier with husband, and what came up was this:

Vitamins don't really help me

Propolis somehow kicks me in the morning, when I wake up very tired, so that I am able to get dressed and go to work. I function pretty well during the work day, it's when I come back home that I just can't do anything but sleep. It's very hard even to get up and go to the gym, or even get up and have dinner

I sleep 6-7 hours at night

I drink 1-3 coffees during the day

I don't have low levels of iron

I eat enough, and haven't changed the way I eat in the last months

My job is tiring, but it has always been, not only in this last period

I do yoga 2-3 times a week

Don't know, may be I just try to do too much without enough sleep, but it just doesn't seem normal to me.

I could go to the doctor, but I don't know what to say to him - Doctor, I am very sleepy!?

And my bloodwork is just fine.

Have any of you ever experienced such situation? Do you have anu suggestions?

Are you cold a lot? Especially after you eat? Maybe it's a thyroid condition. In any case, I would definitely go to the doctor and tell him/her that you have a lack of energy. Anytime you feel that something is "off", especially if it's affecting your daily life (and it sounds like it is), you should get it checked out. What can it hurt?

I don't know how people function on less than 7 hours of sleep regularly. I know I don't.

Have you taken a pregnancy test lately?

How are things on the weekends or on days when you're not working?

I agree about going to a doctor - it can't hurt.

Boots, I am not usually cold - actually, after eating I get warmer (as if I was producing heat - it sounds strange but it's the way it is). I am sometimes cold before eating. But blood work for thyroid condition is not a bad idea - I do it once a year because of familiarity, but nothing wrong has come out ever.

Suasoria, I am pretty sure I am not pregnant.

In the weekend things are better: I have more time to rest - sometimes I take a small nap after lunch - and I manage to get everything done.

In any case, I think I'll go ask the doctor...

Thanks girls!

How has your mood been lately? Anything happen that would cause additional stress or sadness? I get very lethargic and sleepy when I am having difficulty dealing with certain life situations. What is the weather like where you live? Is it possible that you are possibly affected by SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)? I purchased a Happy Light to try out for myself. Hoping it works.

I would for sure go see a doctor. It's really hard to enjoy life and be happy when you are so tired all the time. Good Luck!
