No refunds? In a mall store?

American Apparel, I know you think you're hipper than thou, but you are a frickin' chain store. Get over yourself, and stop thinking you're a one-off boutique. You are so not.

If you're going to have an unusal, restrictive return policy, you better post enormous signs and get your sales associates to take the gum out of their mouth and explain it to customers without glossing over it.

And, while we're at it, get your damn sizing straight.

There inconsistent sizing has turned me off to them forever.

At least at Forever 21 they tell each and every person the no refund policy. I've only been in an American Apparel store once or 2x, but I have never seen a store policy sign nor heard the associate mention it to a paying customer.

In this day and age? That's craziness! In my book that's totally a reason to NEVER shop there again...

I filled their inbox with a searing, anonymous email message. :)

I think I actually wrote, "You are a chain store. Act like one."

LOL!
