Any one watching Project Runway this season?

Is anyone watching this season?  I don't have any favorites yet, but so far I'm liking Laura, Kimberly and Anya.

Oh, if we bring personalities into it, I just want to go on record as stating how much I wanted to slap the hell out of Joshua last night. There's a fine line between bitchy and just cruel and he vaulted over it! I mean, does he really think that there is a good way to take "dowdy"???? Becky was entitled to create one look of the three and did absolutely nothing to invoke the mean girl behavior he threw at her.

Anya is the former beauty queen girl who either taught herself how to sew in 2 weeks (sarcasm...) or who just gets everyone else to help her sew each week. Apparently sewed the maxi dress because Anya had never sewed jersey before. I'm guessing that Anya has never sewed many things before. You'd think that idea might have occurred to her when she applied to the show... I like her style, but I'm unsure if she is more than a one trick pony at this point. I hoping she a many trick point however.

I liked Kimberly's shorts & jacket outfit. It wasn't revolutionary, but it fit well and looked cute with the sneakers. I liked Brice's dress, but didn't really think it was the sort of thing "every girls needs" as much as Micheal Kors did. But I'd buy it over the Kors stuff that my local Filenes Basement is selling any day. I thought Victor's motorcycle jacket was great, but didn't care for the generic dress under it.

No, he was antagonistic and passive agressive. Even though he wasn't that passive. Maybe bully is a better adjective.

I know - I'm not sure what I think of that claim either...

Well, the stripe was very poorly attached.

I don't think she's a one trick pony. I like the refined silhouettes and simple interest points in her designs. I think they are flattering to most women, and wearable as well.

I liked Kimberly's shorts & jacket outfit. It wasn't revolutionary, but it fit well and looked cute with the sneakers.

I liked it too, I thought it was cute.

I liked Brice's dress, but didn't really think it was the sort of thing "every girls needs" as much as Micheal Kors did.

I liked it, and I saw how it could be flattering, and frankly, easy to produce with a high profit margin.  I agree with you - not every girl would have the style to wear that dress.

But I'd buy it over the Kors stuff that my local Filenes Basement is selling any day. I thought Victor's motorcycle jacket was great, but didn't care for the generic dress under it.

Yeah wasn't a fan of the dress under it either. I actually loved the harness and tee dealio...

WHATTTTTT !! I can't STAND Burt.  He did one good dress while the rest has been safe and bland.

I loved the Nina Garcia challenge and found Joanna Coles to be delishiously snarky!

So far I love Anya and Victor.  How lame was Cecelia's bow out in the last challenge???

Good riddence to Cecelia.  I'm glad they brought back Joshua in her place.

I think Bert's design aesthetic is very well proportioned, beautifully tailored, flattering to most, and with a strong nod to vintage 60s couture.  Wasn't a fan of the ruffled nightie or ball gown, but I would wear more of his designs than not. http://www.mylifetime.com/shows/project-runway/season-9/designer-portfolios

I found that I liked a lot of the designer's portfolios better than what they've been doing on the show. That's why I'm still liking Anya and Bert's work. I could do less with the wacky challenges and let them design some actual clothes (like the Nina challenge. Difficult client= difficult challenge!)

Cecelia should have bowed out the night before and let the other designer stay if she wanted out that badly. They were a team so she could have easily said she wanted to leave instead of Julie. I don't like quitters and I really don't like selfish ones.

I will say this though, I have no idea who's going to make it to the final show so far. That's sort of refreshing.
