Boston ... again

I realize that we did this several times but I wanted to start a new post.

Two girlfriends and I are taking the train from Washington, DC to Boston next month for three days.

I need suggestions of what to do. The Sox won't be in town I don't think, but I'd like to do a stadium tour, and we've got some fabulous restaurant suggestions.

Anything else we MUST do?

Also, what do I pack for three days? I'm expecting lots of walking but I want to be versatile and I'll be going with the girls, so I want to be cute and comfortable.

Thanks :)

I also could use some suggestions.  I'll be in Boston for a week in July and could use some recommendations for dining, shopping, and other attractions.

We went last year and some of the things I enjoyed:

1. Museum of Fine Art
2. The Science Museum (Awesome!)
3. Freedom Trail. I feel you see a lot of the sights here.
4. Of course, Boston Commons
5. The public library does architecutral tours which was pretty cool
5. Shopping- Newberry Street

I can't remember where we ate but it was all so yummy!

I bought a book 10 best boston and the listed the 10 best things in that neighborhood. I highly suggest it.
