6pm returns
Permalink Closed

Just wanted to warn anyone who may order from 6pm in the future about a little hitch in their return policy.

I took the box my shoes came in to a mailing store, and was told the absolute cheapest way to send it would cost me $22!  Apparently, the address they give for returns has some sort of of additional delivery surcharge because of it's location.  I ended up ripping it out of my original mailing box and getting a small flat-rate USPS box, which still cost me $10 to send, and I had to buy tape at the post office to seal it hmm.gif.

Just a PSA - be sure you'll keep what you buy from 6pm, or be prepared to spend $10 to send it back!

Whenever I've done 6pm returns, there's just a piece of paper inside with an address printed on it. I package it all up and mail it from USPS for the regular fee, it usually costs me about $6. Do you remember where the return address was? I send returns to a place in Kentucky and I've never had a problem with returning things for any more than usual postage rates.

The return address was in KY, but the sheet included with my shipment was different from the last time I ordered.  There was no address on it, and it said I needed to go to my account online and begin the return process there.  It's there it says you're responsible for postage to mail it back (duh) and gives the address.  It's a special 'Returns' address, not sure if it's the same as the sending address.  Maybe they've recently changed their policy?
