What is your friend's husband's name?

I saw Ana Gasteyer on the subawy in NYC.

I met John McCain at his office.  My dad's friend is on his staff.

I met the lead singer from Sixpence None the Richer (if you remember them, they sang that "Kiss Me" song from She's All That) at Lilith Fair.

I saw Larry Bird walking down the street in NYC.

I chased after this guy Nick from Survivor Australia on the street in Seattle.  He was very nice and laughed at us when he realized we were following him.

I saw Peaches on the street in San Francisco.  She totally knew I was staring at her and I hear she hits people who come up to her.  She's so badass.

I met Something Corporate and talked to them after one of their shows.  It was before they were big, I think the concert was like $1.

I've also met a ton of players on the Mariners and the Sonics.  Just through random stuff.

I'm also planning a trip to NYC to stalk Mary-Kate some time this fall.

--julianne moore and hubby. i actually saw them downtown the other night. she really is beautiful in person.

--i got hit on my travis minor (football player for the dolphins -- or at least he was when i met him).

This made me chuckle because he went to the brother high school of my high school while I was there and non of the black girls at my school would date him because while as they said "he had a hot body he had an ugly face" They are probably kicking themselves right now since he's in the NFL.

Other than that, I've met a lot of NHL players because I used to go to the LA King's practices years ago.

mine are pretty boring...and eclectic

I saw Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, and whatever the goofy weatherman's name is (it escapes me right now) when my mom forced me to visit the Today Show with the other soccer moms on vacation.

I saw/met Margaret Thatcher, Madeleine Albright, and Lamar Alexander at various events and/or graduation when in college.  Oh, I was involved in theater and would see speakers in the hall of the theater building if they came to talk...the only interesting one was Bill Cosby.

And even though I've been living in Nashville for over 2 years, I'm pretty sure I've only seen one country singer.  Keith Urban in line at the Pancake Pantry one Sunday morning.  He is short and a total poser.

oh, i forgot sports people...but i only met them when they were in college...a few NBA players, no one too high profile, mostly Spurs players (formerly at U of Arizona), and then of course, Michael Vick, who went to school in my hometown before going to play for the Atlanta Falcons.  so that's kind of cool.

You are all going to be SO jealous when you read my list. This could quite possibly be the crappiest list ever.

Gordon Elliott, back when he had a daytime talk show. He was outside FAO Schwartz with a film crew asking people what they bought. He refused to ask us even though I stood right in front of him.

Dr. Ruth Westheimer, in the Museum of Modern Art gift shop. She's quite possibly the smallest woman I've ever seen

Chris Elliott in a party store with his wife and kids. I actually heard his voice from the next aisle over and instantly knew it was him.

Why do I meet all the Elliotts?

My list is pretty lame as well.

Val Kilmer and Elizabeth Shue when they were in Oxford filming The Saint at a club/bar.  He sat and had a few drinks and smokes with us when he found out some of the people in our group were Americans.  Slizabeth Shue tried to dance with my gay Chinese roommate, but he blew her off and later said she was a bad dancer. LOL

I saw David Hasselhoff in London.  We were walking around trying to get to Chinatown for lunch, and then we saw a huge crowd of people standing around, so we hung out to see what was going on.  He came out, and I was like, "We waited around for that?!?  It's only David Hasselhoff!  I want to go eat now!"  He heard me and looked straight at me.  If looks could kill, I would have been dead.

Bill Clinton, when he went to speak at Oxford and saw him again in Rotterdam.

Can't think of any others right now...
